Installing Another Fan

hi all need to put another fan in to my E machine ,I have another fan but dont know were the wires go, the fan I have has a black and a red wire ,anyone out there have any ideas how to connect these 2 wires,thanks

    or is it a case fan like that ^ .. im guessing its this one above,. u'll have too look at ur motherbaord spec too see if theres a spare port to clip it into,.. ur better off with the 1st pec as all u got too do is click the power in from any other power cord coming from the main power pack,.

    The fans will have a arrow on indictaion air flow to so you can go wrong really.

    One end will plug into a spare molex connector shown above and then you have a through one so it can bypass to another device like a hard drive. Costs about £1 I got two the other day from Ebuyer and they were colouerd one with UV light.

    You can get different connector so be careful and plug into a motherboard

    its always good to have a couple of fans one blowing in and one sucking out so the air can circulate.
    I brought some ebuyer fans and the bearings went after a year! making hell of a noise!
    Not bad for 50p though! :D:D
