Coco Chanel alternative?

Evening,

I have worn Coco since I was 15 and while I have dallied with other perfumes I go off them really quick and always end up back on the Coco.

Usually I am lucky enough to get given a bottle for Christmas which lasts until my birthday (next week) then another for my birthday which will last until at least Christmas if not longer. I am dangerously close to the end of my bottle :o

This year there is so more that I need it will be very doubtful I will be getting a bottle so I was wondering if anyone could recommend something with similar notes that is a bit cheaper? I had a wander round Boots today (came out smelling like a !!!!!s handbag!) but nothing has grabbed my attention.

If it helps I don't like anything too flowery or too musky.
Any ideas??

Thanks
YDSM

You could try and see if you can get something from these people. They seem to be pretty high rated for smelling like the real thing.

I think chanel is well worth the money, as the scent lasts all day. In the past i have bought from Avon, M&S and next but end up applying so much more. Is there no way a couple of people will club together for your birthday? how about ebay, be careful not to get a fake though. I tend to save all my boots points and buy myself a bottle...i have 3 children though so spend loads in boots on nappies, wipes etc.

I was actually lucky and got 2 lots of boots vouchers for my birthday so I can afford a bottle of the real stuff! Although I will check out the M&S stuff and try the oil before I spend them.

    Thanks for the replies.
