Had a really busy week last week so didn't get chance to post. But I have had a good start to the week and done lots of flying tonight and even roped in DH. He's busy at it now.

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
scrub cupboards, appliances and kickboards! DH doing tonight
Wipe over the sockets and switches
Clean fridge and see what needs using first DH doing tonight

Looking pretty good. I've also suggested to DH that on the days we both work, we share the housework and I don't mind doing a room myself on the days I don't. And he's agreed!:j

Hope everyone is all ok, I've not had a chance to read back through the thread and I need to check on my ebay stuff. Very skint this month so I need to boost the bank balance before the direct debits go out on the first. Unfortunately the car tax is due too so that's another £80 ish to find.

Im using warm soapy water and a dishcloth!!! The walls are painted with matt emulsion thats been painted over plaster board!!! (new build house so not proper walls if you know what I mean)

That is why I do not buy matt emulsion.. you cannot wipe it. I always use silk emulsion as that is wipeable.. the difference being the pva in the silk. You would add a large gloob of woodglue to the matt paint and redo the walls or buy the same colour in the silk.

matt is great for ceiling but rubbish for walls!

I havent done any decorating since I moved in so I think I should add that to my todo list (something wipeable and NOT WHITE!!!)

Jojo - when the computer virus people rang me I asked them how my PC being online tells them my phone number. They put me onto a supervisor who insisted it was my PC so I said well if you can tell for certain it's mine, then what's the IP address of my PC? ... they hung up :p
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?

Well done! I may need to ask you for your secret.

Best laid plans and all that... DS2 turned from adorable to vile in seconds. No reading done as a result. DH decided to stay in, so he watered plants while I made him a sandwich. Going to have an early night, so flying postponed until tomorrow. Good night. x

Floor now mopped, sinks bleached, kettle boiling. :D
Now to run a bath and do nothing for an hour.....bliss
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
