Sorry its late and I'm tired now but are we talking about the Olay vouchers that state Superdrug on them or are ther new ones.:oThe curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0

Are you using lots of the olay vouchers in waitrose at once to nearly get your shopping for free?
Thanks0 -

Thanks
If so Waitrose cannot claim the money back - and it won't be long before all the other coupons aren't accepted too.

Hiya hilary1 - yes we are still talking about the olay vouchers which state Superdrug on them. They appear to be accepted although I have not tried the latest ones I have as I worry about getting a cashier into trouble for mis-redeemed vouchers. How can Waitrose claim their money back when the voucher clearly states Superdrug ?

I have 7 x Olay vouchers left and think I'll risk using them up tomorrow at waitrose, the first time I used them they accepted them fine..but the second time the Superviser was called and she read the small print! Grrr lol But that was a while ago now......if they don't accept them again I'll take a drive to Asdas

Sindy - sorry but I can't agree with you. To save £35 in one shop and risk my local store not accepting coupons again - not even worth thinking about.

It was a joke lol....But surely you'd rather cut prices than having to use vouchers?

I know I would
Sorry Sindy if I got the wrong end of the stick. Often when somebody is posting on a forum it is difficult to tell whether they are joking or not. So sorry if I misread you.
The coupon issue is something that irritates me. There are people that abuse the coupon situation for short term gain. This could spoil it for others because in the long term there is potentially thousands to earn!!!

I presume the PEOPLE you are referring to include me!! I have been using coupons for a long time and not just for a "short term gain" as you put it. I am certain that large companies such as Waitrose, Asda and Tesco wouldn't accept them if they couldn't redeem them back to the issuing company. The supervisor I spoke to was more than happy for me to use them and if I can get a huge chunk off my shopping bill every once in a while then I don't see why it's such an issue. I'm sure this won't affect anyone using the odd 20p coupon off a product that they have in their trolley. Do you honestly think that a few people using coupons to reduce their shopping bill will affect the stores policy on their use??? I do not. My £140 last night is a drop in the ocean for store like Waitrose who make billions of profit from us every year.0
