Unclaimed tesco clubcard points

I realised today that after 5 years (yes I know!) I had forgotten to change my address with tesco clubcard people. I called them today and they have agreed to send me the past two years worth of stuff that I should have received.
The problem is that I have never received anything as I got the card just before I moved and don't really know what to expect. What kind of things do you get sent? I'm sorry for such a thick question but usually use Nectar scheme and don't know how Tesco operates. Apparently I have 3000 points with Tesco - what does this mean?
Thanks in advance

Hiya rachelmk - firstly 3,000 points is £30.00 in vouchers to use in store as money off your shopping BUT PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM FOR THIS. There are lots of deals whereby the £30 is worth 4 times as much so it is then worth £120.00. You can spend it on treats such as blockbusters, at restaurants, on family tickets eg Alton Towers, MFI, and others. Check out http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/ for more information.
Tesco tend to send bonus coupons such as extra points if you buy an item, or half price discount on a magazine for example every quarter with the next mailing due in November. It is one point for every pound you spend and one point for each carrier bag you re-use too !
Keep reading these boards and you could soon be a Tesco chick ! for example do you know that "most" Tesco stores will accept money off vouchers even if you do not buy the item. I personally saved £20 off my shopping today doing this.
Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL
