Have been searching for a decent coconut ice- cream for ages, finally found one at last. Carte D'Or brand. Great taste, just like biting into a Bounty bar with the bits of coconut in it. Anyone else tried it?

I too love coconut ice cream but find it is difficult to find in stores. I have tried the Carte D'or one some time ago but haven't seen it for ages, thought they'd maybe stopped making it.
I'll follow this thread with interest :j:j:jGrant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can and the wisdom to know it's me"0 -
ive had a coconut yoghurt from onken, it comes in a big tub, so you could always freeze it and eat it as frozen yoghurt0

We were lucky enough to go to Mexico.... who have fab coconut ice cream. On our return my lads asked me to get some ~ I search every place I could think of.
and then....... Tesco, yes Tesco sell it, but its not in the usual icecream place ~ you will find it in the frozen ethnic section and it doesnt cost a fortune either, now its not as nice as when we had it in Mexico ~ but does hit the spot !What goes around comes around !! Simple but very true :rotfl:0
