it did used to work as 5 choices of course rather that uni, you make your course decisions they then are sent to a central office for sorting then they forward to the uni courses you list

unless its changed I cant see a prob picking 3 courses at cardiff and 2 courses elsewhere...did she have guidance notes at all?

    Thanks Phil,

I'm sure she has got guidance notes - which I haven't seen - but I'll check them with her.

be VERY wary though of applying to several really different courses at the same uni, each department "may" worry about how committed she was to the course if she wanted to do something else at interview if the course choices are varied

Very good point Phil - and she would be applying for 3 "similar" courses.

In fact this is the reason she wouldn't be able to apply for all 5 at Cardiff.

Thanks guys and gals. Looks like I am just going to have to ask. My 'plan' is to drop to part time and study for my masters degree which is 2 years. However, I will still be liable for an IPA, although reduced and the surplus won't be enough to cover fees, so if they allow it, it will negate my IPA. So I am thinking it will be a 'no'. I will keep you posted.:)

    Darnit,

All I can say is good luck - and I do apologise for hi-jacking your thread with my university questions.
