Hearty Oaty Hovis 2 for £1 -

If you are like me and enjoyed the free trial loaf, I hope you have a Farm Foods near you - just been to ours - selling it and other Hovis at 2 for a £1. My daughter rang me and told me about it, I thought she must have got it wrong - but it is indeed 2 for £1

Tesco's £1.35 even though other Hovis is 2 for £2 - just because they can

We usually get our white hovis loaves from farmfoods at 2 for £1, even cheaper than Tescos own value 'cr*p' bread and tastes and keeps much better too!
No buying toiletries challenge - possibly for most of 2011,2012,2013,2014,2015!
    £1 in sealed pot for each UU (2011 135/500:D) 2012 have UU 130/400 (never realised I had a mini chemist under my bed!!!) :rotfl:2013 UU 156/350. 2014 UU 197/250 2015 UU 16/100

They also do 4 litres of fresh milk for £1.50. In some places you only get 2 litres for £1.50!

We've just started getting bread and milk from them every week, it's fantastic, we freeze one of the loaves and they are lovely and soft still when thawed out

Thanks for this. I did enjoy the free loaf, but wouldn't have dreamt of going to Farm Foods even though it's next door to Lidl. I'll give them a try.
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)

You're welcome Westywoodpecker - I know they got a lot of response on the Hovis forum they set up for the loaves, and a lot of people were having difficuly finding them. Thought that a few may have been MSE ers. I know Farm Foods are good for prices on a lot of stuff, but the Hearty Oats loaves are a really good buy. Tesco's started selling it on promotion at 85p then bunged the price up to £1.35, so a lot on there stopped buying it.
