Just found this.
A free 3 day gym pass for living well gyms
http://www.livingwell.com/clubs/latest_offer.html
Should be useful for a swim and jacuzzi and steam room session.

Just did one for my daughter who is going to be living close to one. I am a bit worried now that thye will ring her on the mobile and nag her into signing something when she has not got any money

LivingWell dont accept any free passes anymore so don't bother with it as they were sold to another company on 9th August (Bannatyne's).
The website is still active, but most staff made redundant so no web techies to amend it.0 -
This is interesting. I suppose it is too early to tell but if someone belongs to Bannatynes will they also be able to use Livingwell and via seversa?
We have a Bannatynes here and there is a LivingWell where my daughter is studying. I rang the local one but needless to say they could not say for sure that a membership at one would also be used at the other.
I also have a Livingwell gift voucher which I still have to use up

It is true, here is what it says on the Bannatyne's website:
"On August 9th 2006, Bannatyne Fitness Ltd acquired the LivingWell Premier Health club chain from the Hilton Hotel UK Group, taking the Bannatynes Health club chain to over 60 locations."0 -
I know its true, I work at LivingWell Head Office lol

Mhoc - Unfortunately it is too early to tell, Bannatynes haven't given us much info but I have heard that each Bannatynes club is graded by stars (kind of like hotels) and you can use all other clubs with the same star rating as you own.
That is not confirmed thought so please don't take it as gospel!
Tbh Bannatynes are awful as they never communicate these things!
A bit of helpful advice though is if your voucher is for a pamper treat/massage/indulgence day then get it booked ASAP, the booking department is being closed on 20th October! Ring 0870 600 700 1 and press option 2.
If it is a Platinum guest pass or Platinum voucher then the clubs are no longer allowed to accept them..
hope this helps!0 -

From what I understood, Bannatyne has bought the standalone LivingWell Clubs, the LivingWells that are part of a hotel are still to remain LivingWell.

Presumably that is the same Bannatyne as that super chap who comes on "Dragons Den" every week and tears people off a strip?0
