cheapest places to buy bottles?

im thinking of making some mini jam and chutney hampers (with some more homemade things popped in)
where is the best place to buy the jars i will need about about 16-20 of them and i want them the same size as if you were buying jam from a shop.

ive looked on ebay but not sure on what is a good price - i dont want to pay over the odds for them.

what price should i be paying for these? and should i stick to ebay or is there somewhere else with better value?

thanks in advance

I recently bought some lovely small kilner style jars for jam from The Range, just over £1.00 or so.
