This is actually the 2nd time we have been summoned, the first was a couple of yrs ago for a different property, the same problem happened again
We got into a payment arrangement after that and were fine. But now this again, thats another reason I worry.
To be honest being summonsed twice in a few years is not that big an issue as far as council's are concerned - Ive seen people who have been summonsed most years since council tax began.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0 -
oh well thats ok then lol, i was worried that having two summons would maybe make me more likely to get a worse off "sentence" if you like! I just wish i could have had my priorities set right and paid it no matter what each month, but sometimes it just wasnt possible. 0
