Nearly there loan and cards paid off

Hi, 5 years ago I had approx £18k on a loan and cards. The loan was finally paid off last month, I chopped up my cards and used balance tranfers to clear the rest.
I stopped buying the usual junk and haven't missed all the stuff I would have bought.
This site has saved me a fortune and I have sold a lot of stuff on ebay-totally changed my attitude to money.
Just my 2K overdraft to clear, which I have made a start on now.
5 years sounds like a long time but its been worth it and a weight has been lifted.
Good luck to all
cheers !

Good on Yer. Theres always light at the end of the tunnel. No matter how long that tunnel may seem, you gotta keep moving forward.
I came into this world with nothing and I'm gonna leave with nothing.0 -
well done!:T I think the best thing about this site is that we all realise life is great without debt, even if it's a long path and we have to change our ways to stay on track and keep to the road in the future. (sorry run out of byways to use!!!)0
