Just a little thank you........

Wasnt sure where to post this but I wanted to thank all of you who have contributed and commented on my posts over the last couple of weeks, especially Tixy and Izools.

I have now managed to get my credit card debt of £2k on to a 0% interest card and the rest of my debt is on a decent loan with Sainsburys, unfortunately over 7 years though.

My debt free aims are;

Overdraft - ALL READY CLEARED
Credit card - cleared by MARCH 2011 (yay)
Loan - cleared by JULY 2017 (boo)

Thanks to all of you and like I said in a previous post IZOOLS you have saved me over £300 in interest payments so heres a beer for you :beer:

Hi Dan,

Well done on getting on the road to being debt free. I've also had lots of help from people on the site and am very thankful to everyone (including Tixy) who has given me excellent advice.

Glad you've got it all sorted now, and most of all have a definite debt-free-date light at the end of the tunnel.

It can be frustrating speaking to Creation / Sygma when most of the agents don't know what they're doing.

I called on 6th July to re-order my cards after having them go through the wash. The agent lied to me about having re-ordered them. I've had to re-order them again via a team leader. *Sigh* Ah well...

Thanks Dan - glad if I helped in some way.

Thats great news that you got a 0% card and didn't go for the larger loan. 7years does seem a long time now but maybe if your finances improve you'll be able to make overpayments or be able to get some savings together to ultimately settle the loan early.

thanks for the suggestion to ring them, its cheeky they dont put it on the paperwork
