Co-Op Cashminder Account Visa Debt Card - where it can and can't be used!

Hi all
Firstly, sorry if this is in the wrong place and please feel free to move it!
I, like so many others have just opened a Cashminder Acc. I am fully aware that I can't use it at pay at the pumps and ticket machines, but there seems to be an awful lot of confusion on here with regards to where they can be used.
I think it would be really useful for all of us, if, we could find out which online sites we can and can't use them at. Example, some can use Tescos and some can't and even more confusing, I have just read a post that Tesco pay at the pumps are now accepting them. If possible, can we make a sticky (whoever has the ability to do that) so that we all know where we can use them, as it can be really embarrising/inconvinent if they are declined!
Thanks in advance of all who respond.

When you say Visa debit do you mean Visa Electron?
Visa Electron can be used: Amazon online, Paypal (for eBay), Barrats shoes inc. Big Shoe Boutique online, Tesco stores, Asda stores, Boots stores, Co-Op stores.
But not: Tesco Online.I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)
As of the last count I have cleared [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt.

The Co-Op used to issue Visa Electron Debit cards but nowadays the Cashminder account comes with a straightforward Visa Debit card. You'll find that it is accepted virtually everywhere. I have not encountered any problems using it.0

We have found that sometimes when paying online even though the card says debit, you have to mark electron or it isn't accepted.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0
