Pre Litigation report?

Could someone please tell me what this means? We have recieved a letter informing us we are due a home visit to carry one out. Yet again our lazy record keeping and debt ridden past is creeping up on us.

Never heard it called that before. I have had a letter from one creditor saying that I am due a visit by their 'Customer Service Manager' - I just assumed it was another tactic to make me commit to paying more.
Pre-Litigation means Pre-Legal action - anyone taking you to court?

They cetainly shouldn't be, or if so this is the first I've heard of it.
The letter is from HFO services limited. We re certain we have cleared, or have payment agreements for all our debts, so this is a bit out of the blue.

I know I ought to call them rather than ask such random questions here, but want to know where we stand, say if it's a forgotten debt or an error, before I call and say the wrong thing, iyswim.

Then ask, by letter, what is purpose of proposed visit, and ask to keep all correspondence in writing - I think that they are probably trying to make you increase already agreed payments.
