NEW MALDEN Tesco has "starter tool kit with tote bag" reduced to 23p
it contains a few screwdrivers, small hammer, adjustable spanner, allen keys, and a few other bits plus a bag to keep them in.
Handy to keep under the sink if needed in emergency

I got a hammer for 3p in my Tesco
they had sold out of the tote bags
Got a 20 piece hobby and craft tool set in a case for £1.75 too, reduced from £7.00
best to keep checking as they are reducing things all the time0 -
i have used cheap tools before, you wont be so happy when they break or snap and bust up your hand or break something, cheap tools are dangerous and should be banned, remember-you are getting what you pay for0

I agree that cheap tools are not meant for extensive use, I would not put any of these tools in the kit i use for work (except maybe the spirit level and tape)
But for keeping as a set of tools for minor DIY jobs these are OK.
Even expensive tools can fail, even when used properly.Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!

They've bought them, they aint selling so they need them off the shelf. The income to the supermarkets is not just the 23p but the profits they will generate from the products they put in their place.0
