Hello, Wondering if you kind people can help me. I am looking to buy a laptop on Tesco Direct and was happy to see i will get double points. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any current Voucher Codes i can use to keep the cost down. The laptop is currently £679.99.

Or in fact any other cheap sites i may be able to buy Samsung Laptops on?

If it's this one you're looking at it's only 32 bit which means it won't be capable of using all of the 4 GB of memory it comes with.

The Samsung R580 seems to come with lots of different specifications so it depends what you want from your laptop.

This one from Play is £10 more expensive, it's a 64 bit, core i5 but no blueray player.

They've got 2 Samsungs with Bluray but one's nearly a grand and the other one comes with Vista.

Just a word of warning on cheap laptops/netbooks. Having read article on refurbished laptops undergoing vigorous testing, I bought a refurbished Asus 1000HE netbook for a good discounted price from laptopsdirect.com.
Unfortunately for me the netbook never worked. I immediately contacted the manufacturers, Asus, who stated that the hard drive was dead. So I had to get a reference number and fill out a form on the laptopsdirect.com website for a promised 24 hour return authorisation.
Suffice to say I have been waiting way beyond promised time for return authorisation. The time was changed to 48 hours. And that was days ago now. They keep making promises. My initial impression is that you should avoid this company at all costs. I have now read reviews on the internet and regret buying from them. Check out the review sites.
I actually paid an extra £20 for an extended warranty too. I have had a dozen email replies all promising a call yet no one has rung once. I need the refund to get my son a netbook before his birthday this coming weekend but am now stuck due to laptopsdirect.com stalling. I have contacted my local trading standards and they are keen to hear on any update. The good thing is that I was looking to purchase another 10 netbooks for my work department but will now go to Currys of Laskys.
Please think twice before using laptopsdirect as they are poor.
I would pay that little bit more and go to a reputable company like Currys or Laskys.

Anyway laptopsdirect are notorious for poor service but Currys also have a bad customer service reputation.
