Anyone know where there is an Asda that is easy to get to off the M6?
I will be going from Birmingham as far as Jn 19 and hope to nip in, if there is one handy.
Thanks!

Hope this helps, it shouldn't take you too far out of your way.
If you get off the M6 at junc 15 at get on the A500 (it does a loop and comes back on at junc 16 ) half way along that there is an Asda on the left at a place called Wolstanton.Laughter is the sun

MJK Hi,
Yes the Wolstanton Asda just off what is known locally as the 'D' Road is easy to get to. Except, at the moment there are extensive road works at the bottom end of the A500 at its junction with what was the old A50. they are creating an underpass and its a nightmare. If you still want to use that Asda, I would suggest that when you get off the M6 slip road, instead of going straight across onto the A500, turn left, and follow signs to 'Newcastle' Just stay on that road until you are almost at the town centre, and you come to a roundabout (A34 junction), take third exit, go up Barracks Road, (Bus Station on your left,) to roundabout.
Take 3rd exit signposted A52 City Centre and Leek. This takes you back to the D Road. Turn left onto it for a few hundred yards and take next exit into Retail Park where you will find Asda. Going this way will only add 5 minutes to your journey, but could save you a lot of grief.

Aussie does lots of work for Asda, so if you ever need directions for one, chances are he'd know where it was!Laughter is the sun

:)Hi KSH 123.
We could be neighbours if you live in Berkshire! Used to live in Potteries though for more years than I care to remember, managed to escape eventually though. Equally not too sure about 'rule and forever bit.

Thanks for all info. Managed to find Wolstanton Asda no problem, which with my sense of direction is pretty good going!0
