The radio they are 'giving away' - the Pure One Mi has an RRP of £34.99. I'm guessing you probably have to pay P&P. The Daily Mail is 50p so you aren't already a regular reader it seems hardly worth it.0

Yes, and you can get a Roberts Ecologic for £35 now, which has a built-in battery charger.
DAB radio's have had their prices slashed in recent weeks so this offer is a bit pointless as it will probably cost you £30-35 to collect all SIXTY tokens!0 -
I would rather buy one for £10 in two months time when all the daily mail readers try to sell their freebie on ebay.0
-
id rather save the 40 0dd quid than buy that rubbishReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

:rotfl:too true lolLOVE isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live WITHOUT0 -
This has got to be the worst 'freebie' ever.0

Seems like a nice deal until you read the smallprint. You are required to collect 60 tokens inorder to claim the radio.
Daily Mail Price - 50p
Number of "Tokens" required - 60
Price of Radio - "34.99"
Total saving - 4.99p Depending on wether you actually want the radio or are a regular reader of the Daily mail.0 -
The offer reads 20 tokens plus £26.70. Then there will also be a p&p charge of £6.70. it'll cost £33.40 plus the extra newspapers. seems a pretty pathetic offer to me...0

All I can say is it's certainly NOT my idea of FREE! wonder how many people have read the small print!Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
