Oh my god, you mentioned Assosia.

Do you realise the punishment for mentioning Assosia on a forum?

They usually manage to fill these assignments with mystery shoppers who have mentioned Assosia on a public forum ......

I dont believe i 'said' it, i may have hinted!!!! but it's your guess that actually revealed the name. I'm sure everyone else knows 10 plus shopping companies who's names can fit in the **** bits

I have been a complete doofus, I can't even believe what I have done. I did 2 freezer shops for ESA today, and I have just entered the results for one of them and then realised that I have filled it out for the wrong one, seconds after submitting.

I don't know now I should fill in the other report for the other store and ask them if they can swap them over, leave it completely now until the morning until afer I can speak to them, or fill in the correct report for the store that I still have the report open for, and see if they can reset the other one tomorrow.

Any opinions? I am really kicking myself now.

Been there , seen it , done it :)
I filled out the correct report for the 1 had left then emailed then & rang them next day about it, I got confused as it was 2 shops in the same street.
I'm sure they'll be alright about it.

I have never done this with ESA! *smug grin*

However, I did do it a few months ago with Gap. Like you, I realised after I had pressed submit on the first report. I went ahead and put the second report in (i.e. on the wrong assignment). It was the end of a long day and I'd reached that "sod it" point. I then emailed Gap (multiple emails to all the possible email addresses) and told them what I'd done. Of course, I heard nothing back! A couple of weeks later, I queried it when I was on the phone to an allocator. He said that "no news is good news," and lo-and-behold, I got paid for both jobs! Three cheers for Gap!:D

Thanks, makes me feel a bit better to know that others have done this as well. Not trying to pass the buck at all, but it makes me wonder as you have to input the store number, why they don't have a fail safe built in where is recognises you have entered the wrong store number.

Also did 2 gap petrol jobs today, made extra sure I didn't get them mixed up the first one was fantastic, the second one was horrendous.

Completely seperate, can I just say thanks for the fantastic advice in these threads. I don't get on here as often as I would like and I often don't feel qualified to give advice, or when somebody has said something I would have said I don't feel there is any point in repeating it.

I add to the alerts thread when I can, but often find someone has beaten me to it and always add thanks when I have gotten a job from an alert.

Call them tomorrow if the job is still there with the ref. number. you might get it allocated to you.. Have you thought about doing the business ones for them?

The ones I had were in Cumbria if that's any use, you might be able to ring and ask about them.

No I haven't, I don't think I would be able to, because I would imagine the business ones have to be done alone. I can only do these ones because the kids are at their dads for a week during the holidays (I was looking at going away, but it was too expensive :( ). Other than that I would only be able to do some every other weekend, IF their dad doesn't do his normal trick of ringing and saying something has come up and he cn't do that weekend.
