  • Do you have to do the chicken jobs alone? it doesn't say on the brief like it does for the burgers. Have got one to-night and wonder if H could come to.

I've often been with people. As long as you order and pay for just what Gap require yourself and the others sort themselves out.

Once I went in with my kids, ordered their food, got them seated and eating, then went back, started timing etc and when I was served I said "Ooh, I'm so stupid, I ordered the kids food and forgot my own!!!"

  • Had a leisurely day today. Just a petrol and competitior visit, cat shop and fast shop for me. I'm sure I stood out for miles at the petrol shop as it is mainly used by truckers. According to my notes, there was supposed to be a toilet available. Well the cashier let me use it but it was more of a stockroom with a toilet in it!!! Had to navigate around the boxes.
  • Small question
Regarding the sauce and oil visits, which have just made it to Scotland. I've had some stores that don't seem to stock it-searched thoroughly too. Did anyone else have stores where it wasn't stocked?

Bit of a thick tax question. Say for example, I apply for a visit and the maximum mileage I can claim is £7 but it costs me about £22 to actually get there and back, would this be classed as a loss for tax purposes?

One of mine didn't stock any. Took longer to not find any stock, and be sure that I had not missed it, than to find, assess and buy!

It's on the actual job report when you fill it in on Sassie. The last section is for claiming mileage, expenses and anything else connected to the job.
Here I go again on my own....
