The person who posted about a well know attraction that they are going to (and has opted to not accept PMs (but i presume by the name that this person is a lady)) may be interested in looking at React for a job at the said location. :D
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

Do they do those attractions each month? We're going to one of those attractions in August.

    Aaarrrrghhhhh major disaster!

I was putting my contact lenses in before I went out tonight and I dropped one on the floor. Rinsed it off with saline and put it in my eye, and my eye felt it was on fire. Then noticed I'd picked up my hydrogen peroxide cleaner instead of the saline :o

Manged to get the lens out and flushed it well with water, but I now have a bright red eyeball and it is very sore.

Problem is, I'm due to be a contact lens patient for a Tern job at 9am tomorrow morning.

Please everyone keep everything crossed that my eye settles down by tomorrow morning. It causes a huge inconvenience for a lot of people, especially the poor trainee optician if I can't attend.
Here I go again on my own....

Ouch! I know how that feels. I found that my eye settled back down again pretty quickly and was fine the next day - no lasting damage

When I have done these jobs they have done the contact lenses fitting on one eye and then the aftercare on the other eye. You might find that they can do both on the same eye if you explain what happened. They might do that rather than have to cancel at short notice??

I was hoping they might be able to do something like that if it's still bad in the morning.

I've had the same examiner for a lot of the appointments. I hope it's him as he's lovely and I'm sure he'd understand.
