Not suprised at fee cut, thought it would be by more though tbh.
Think they release them in stages as there are none in my immediate area at the mo, but some I could feasibly drive to. Seem to remember the release being staggered over a couple of days last time.January 2012 GC £296.96/£3000 -
After doing a couple of urgent crisp photos last month I have been given them as a regular event :j..
Did one tonight and when I went to upload it I found that you have to select a date you are going to do them and you can "only change it once". Luckily the date for the one I did today was today but I am not sure what to do about the other one, it is just up the road from my work and I was going to do it one evening after work, just not sure when. Am I going to have to commit to a date today or do they not bother about the date/can you change it more than once?0 -

Once they go overdue they will chase you for the images if you haven't uploaded them... Best thing to do if you have a rough idea about when you'll be going set it for a day or two after to give you some breathing room (obviously stick within the allowable dates as explained).
Hope this helps and happy snapping!0 -

Thanks - set it for Friday this week as need to get them done this week as we are away next week .
I assume you have to upload them on the day you take the photos?0 -

That's the sort of attitude that allows all the MS companies to keep cutting their fees. You should be coming on here and saying you're bl**dy fuming.
The MS companies all monitor this board and when they see people saying that they're happy to pick up loads of jobs for a reduced fee, they think they're getting away with cutting our income again.
Come on people stop taking the jobs when the fees are reduced - it's the only way they'll learn that we're not complete pushovers. Why should they increase their profits at our expense? :mad:0 -

Has anyone put ESA's address into street view? No wonder they're dropping fee's :rotfl: think it's to help pay the rent!
I have taken a couple of eggs but only where I'll be in the area anyway the fee drop might be an insignificant amount to them but it's still quite a bit of petrol so that means I'm prepared to cover a smaller radius, I am expecting a begging call or two especially with the slightly worrying note on the summary about them fulfilling their contract!
The other clients they've dropped fees on recently i.e. freezers, travel, pharmacy I haven't bothered with. Having done them in the past (particularly the last two) the new fee just is not worth the time it takes in the store at all...As much as we're motivated to improve service standards a lot of us rely on this as an income not just a hobby so the "small" cuts here and there soon mount up...

but it is to us - 10% if I remember the old fee correctly - never having picked one of these jobs myself - only done them when they've phoned up and offered extra money for doing them!0 -

Yes it is 10%, if we were employed by them and they proposed a 10% pay cut I'm sure they'd have a mutiny on their hands!
To be honest I like to play the game with them as they're usually one of the better ones, if I can help them out by booking it at the standard fee and it be worth my while then I will but there has been a few times, particularly since the fee drop, where I've thought no I'm not doing that much work for that and then got a begging call about it anyway and got more than the original fee
Sometimes dropping the fees has the opposite effect to what the MS company is hoping... We all start to think no it's not worth it so they end up having to call and offer stupid amounts to get us to drop everything and travel out of our way when it's something we would have probably picked up anyway had it been at the old fee... Thus it ends up costing them more in the long run... Nice little paradox :rotfl:0 -

Yup its 10% and remember its 30% purchase... albeit you return the item but sometimes you don't get a refund just exchange.
So now its 33% purchase...
its ok if your doing local ones but once those are done you can't do them for 6 months!0
