Yeah mine said to specifically do it covert... strange.

I rang to double check this. Was told it was covert as it is checked against the checks that the staff are meant to be doing. (I spotted a member of staff doing the same as me but with a little computer thing while I was there)

I have just released some underground sandwich shops in Co. Antrim. My son is just out of hospital and I don't fancy leaving him for the day

    hello!

not been on for ages now I'm back in work and have an 11month old to entertain when I get in. Plus I keep missing jobs especially on GR as I suspect I have more competition in the area.

did 2 shops after work last night - mega tired by the time I got in!
Just done my GR report but can leave my toy shop one until later as it doesn't need to be back until 9am Monday.
Had a nightmare with toy shop though, have to buy something without batteries so I bought something that said Requires batteries, got to till, assistant didn't ask if I wanted batteries so I casually asked if it had batteries and she said Yes
Silent panic attack so I said actually I changed my mind and would go with the other toy I was looking at. Picked up the same toy I bought last time and did a refund and bought that instead. She didn't ask about batteries again so I thought 'OK, I'll just mark No for the Q'.
Anyway the cashier next to her says 'Did you ask about batteries?' and she says 'It didn't flash up on the computer so I didn't need to'. Other cashier 'But toy says Requires batteries so you have to ask'.

Cue me mega confused!!! Hoping they still pay me for it despite having to do the refund and stuff.

I always worry that they've clocked me when I do this store as they are sooooooooooooooooooooooo helpful and yesterday I noticed this lad didn't have a name badge when I walked in and then 2 mins later he had one.
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
  • Just a note- I'm releasing some GFK Scottish jobs in a couple of minutes as my daughter is visiting from Japan and I'd rather be with her than trailing round unemployed people places :)
  • Really nervous today as I am doing my first assignment with a company and potentially might have to clear shelves of a product. Wondering how much I could potentially be spending and whether I can carry it all to the car. Argh!!

Did anyone get the emails from GFK today about merchandising and promotion work?

I did, said I would be interested but didn't write a lot about my experience. :)

Ninja does a lot of video visits, I think, I can see if you do a lot, it's pretty well-paid. I asked about fees but I wouldn't do enough to justify the equipment.

I had my posh handbag shop yesterday. I really enjoyed it and you were all right - the staff were lovely. I also discoveredt hat i actually liked some of their bags. After that I went to look at some diamonds - I really wanted to buy one of them. I have hinted loads but my husband still hasn't taken the bait :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I enjoyed my posh day and just love how the posh shops ae always so relaxing :)
