I reckon you'll get a better response on the Wedding and Local Money Savers Boards.

Here's a Google listing for 'marquee worcestershire'. There might be some companies you haven't got quotes from.

And in case you want to buy one here's a site for people to sell secondhand marquees.

Have you had any joy with your search alirob? We've just started looking for marquees in Worcs for our wedding next summer and having originally thought it might be the cheap option I'm quickly discovering it's definitely not! The basic marquee hire's fine but once you start adding in all the (necessary) extras it soon adds up - would love to hear if you've had much luck in getting down the cost.

I put a wanted request for a small marquee on freecycle for our daughters wedding. Someone got back to me and offered to loan me theirs free of charge for the weekend. The bride has since exercised her perogative and had a change of mind!! You could ask on your local freecycle, you could be lucky :)

i have tried freecycle, someone had one for 200 but it was more of a gazeebo type thing. I have actually found a fairly local chap who has got 2 6 x 12m marquees - which will sit 120 in total. We actually went to have a look at what he has as it seemed very cheap. We saw his marquees set up and we were positively surprised - my fiancee is actually involved in the wedding business - she does flowers and decorations so to impress her - it takes a lot but she was positively surprised. I mean it was not a big massive marquee with chandaliers etc but you can have it all at extra cost - it was a nice, clean, marquee, tables and chairs with covers, table clots, chair bows, music equipment, a dance floor, lights (nice halogen lights, but he is getting uplighters too), fully lined etc. (one thing we werent sure was side lining - yellowy type thing) but for all this he charges about 1300 - 1400!! so not bad... the next cheapest quote i had was well over 2k.
If you want to know more details pm me and we can keep you updated with how things go :)
    thanks
