I was looking for some new wheels now long ago, found a good variety in Homebase! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Make sure you get the axil size right (hole in the middle). If that is the wrong size the wheels won't be of any use to you.0 -

On a similar note to the start of your post, I reckon you should never buy a new brolley- just go to a lost-luggage dept at a railway station and say you've lost a black brolley, and the first one they bring you, say "that's it!". Never tried it myself, mind, but I think they're probably glad to be shot of yet another lost brolley... I saw a documentary once, and they've got hundreds of the damn things, and very few people claim for them...
Another similar story.. my kids have occasionally gone to reception at the local swimming pool claiming to have lost their goggles, a quick rummage in the box and hey presto.. new goggles lol0 -
Have you tried Halfords, or failing that have a look around a boot sale .I bought one for 50p at a bootsale about ten years ago and my DD bought me a smart new one for Christmas as she said she was fed up of looking at my ratty old one.Or even ask at your local rubbish tip.sometimes things get dumped and even if you only got the wheels of an old trolley you could perhaps put them on you one .0

Is the trolley not still under guarantee since it is only 7 months old? Perhaps you could take it back to wehre you bought it from or if you bought it online, email the company explaining that one of the wheels has worn out already and that you expected to get considerably more use out of the trolley.Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

thanks for all your helpful replies.
I'm very much a procrastinator, and a 'make do' kinda guy, so I haven't done anything about it yet. Unfortunately, I no longer have the receipt- I'ma make it my business from now on to keep all receipts for purchases over a tenner for at least a year.
Just ordered some heels, soles and 'shoe cement' to resole my wonderful trainers which are dead comfy*. If there's some rubber cement/glue left over, I'm going to experiment with sticking a rubber patch onto the wheel to make it round again.
*I'll name the company for praise- DC shoe co USA. Worn these for 3 years now at least, and with a few minor repairs, they're still going strong. Rubber soles with a canvas upper, in a phat stylee. Unfortunately, I've heard that the quality has gone a bit downhill of late, so I can't vouch for the quality of DC shoes anymore, but I'll swear that this has been the best footwear purchase I've ever made.0
