Closing Catalogue Accounts

Hi,

I am really trying to sort out my finances and have been through my credit reports to make a list of all open accounts.

I have 3 catalogue accounts with credit limits totalling £3750 and they are all clear so I would like to close them down, am I best ringing them or writing to them to close them?

I always do both just to be on the safe, I make the call tell them I'm putting it writing and then in the letter ask them to confirm the account is closed by return.
