Ladies - if you want church (pillar) candles for your centrepieces, have a look at Homebase...!
I've just been there and picked up some of these http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=20001&partNumber=477792&Trail=searchtext>CANDLE for £1 each (and it's 10% off day, so I got an extra 10%!)
I am using these for a display tomorrow - but they are way cheaper than anywhere else I could get to easily.
They had lots of other bits and pieces - mirror bases, vases, table runners - all very cheaply - so well worth a look!! I think that the extra 10% is only today and tomorrow though.
