Suggestions for a pressie for a 40 yr old bloke:

magazine subscription (using tesco clubcard deals) eg gardening /cars/ etc
tie (boring but safe if he works in an office)
    a book/dvd
    gadgety penkife thing

can't think of anything else for now - good luck!

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Asda do a bottle of white wine called 'Old Git', for £3.99. Depends if he has a sense of humour or not. :p

If he wears suits to work what about a pair of nice cufflinks? Again Asda is the biz for this one. Usually a fiver and they come in nice black presentation box.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J
  • Thanks guys - he's a mechanic and in the 20 years I have known him I have only seen him in a suit once ... at his sisters wedding! LOL
And he lives at home - I suggested a DVD of the 40 year old vigin and my hubby wet him self laughing!!! HA HA

Em....... on another thread it was suggested to get a jar and fill it with bits of paper...... on which was written ...... sexual favours...... to be redeemed at will by recipient..... They suggested one a year, but at his age you may need to duplicate.... wracking brains & can't get in double figures:confused: .

Best not to hand over in front of his mates though:eek:
