Ive been looking at these boards for a few weeks now and wondering what is the best way to tackle the debt i currently have...
ill try my best to breakdown my outstanding debts, and would like some advice on which one is best to get rid of first...
Since ive been about 19 i've lived in my overdraft, even though im now 23, and earning almost £22k a year.
I currently run a car and joint mortgage with my partner, and spent alot of money getting the basic's needed to get first time buyers off the ground!
Overdraft: £730 used of £750
Barclaycard: £450
Halifax one: £500
Car Insurance: £400 remaining
Loan: 2.9k left of 5.5k
Partners loan: £3.5k
Partners student loan: £1.2k left
We also have a joint account credit card, to which we have about £5-6k on..... we actually moved my Halifax one, and overdraft onto this card.. so the above you can remove actually as its part of this card..
The barclaycard is about 13.9% interest.. our joint credit card is 0% on balance/purchase/cash into current account for 18 months, and has about 14 months left to run on it at the moment... we moved alot of debt into that account so we're paying it off from 1 account not about 10..
Any suggestions on how we can begin to shift some of this debt?!? or which is best to go after first?

Hi, post up a Statement of Affairs and people will come along and advise you.0

Hi,
Posting a statement of affairs is the way to go, but clearing the debt with higher interest should be an initial priority. However, don't forget in 14 months the 0% credit card is going to attract interest if you still have any balance left on it.If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
