Facial Primer?

So I'm one of them mums who has a bag full of makeup that never gets used coz I dont know what to do with half the stuff.

But my stepmum is completely opposite and is coming here from South Africa in August to look after DS whilst Im in hospital delivering number 2.

She's asked me to get her something called a primer? And has told me that this one apparently has a green, lilac and peach tint. Apparently the green in it covers facial redness, the lilac enhances a dull complexion and the peach evens out blemishes to give a warm glow.

What EXACTLY am I looking for, and where's the best place for me to get it-MSE style?

No I dont:( She's read about them in a local magazine but says they cost about R300 (about £27) for a small bottle so she'd like to try some. I cant understand if she gets one product with all three of those tints or three individual bottles...thanks for bumping-will go and have a squizz.

I would imagine its all three tints in one tube.
Nope on secong thoughts (and a bit of a google) I htink there will be 3 different shades available from the one brand. One to correct redness, etc etc.. could it be Clinique?

Just looked on Cliniques site and dont see anything-but Ive posted on the other thread you directed me to. Someone mentioned a compact by Laura Mercier-sounds like that could be the answer.

Hi, think that was me:DIts called Laura Geller Balance and Brighten, I think you can get it from QVC (which means money back if your have any probs) I would also suggest you look at Boots No 7 for indvidual tubes of liquid corrector bases/primers, that might work out better value and be more flexible to use - hth:)

eta - just had a look at my other post and I did say Laura Mercier - got my lauras muddled up;)

Thanks Glowgirl didnt find it on QVC-or rather found loads that I *thought* could be it but a bit overwhelming.

Im still not understanding though, if I bought three tubes of No7, does she apply all three at once or how would it work?

The Balance and brighten isnt really a primer (unless they do a liquid one now) its a make up that has the green etc in it and this corrects any problems, I havnt used it myself but I do have a friend who likes it a lot, heres a link http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.226495/walk.yah.UKHB-U073

The No7 ones are liquid and come in individual tubes that you would buy seperatly, I'm not a No 7 fan so havnt looked at the range for a while so I'm not even sure if they do them still, you would apply each product to the area you want to "fix" sounds like a lot of work to me:o

Estee Lauder Spotlight is a lovely product, especialy for older skin:oits my fav but it wont sort out redness - good luck in your search - :)
