(Old) Tesco H&B Vouchers

Just a query folks and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this.

Does the self scanner at Tesco's accept the out of date vouchers? I've a load of the £1 ones left and was a bit dubious about trying this so I thought I would ask first.:rolleyes:

If u get caught you could get into lots of trouble i don't think its a good idea because they are no longer valid.

the tills are set to refuse out of date tesco specific vouchers so they won't be accepted anyway

Yep, I was about to say the same, coupons with the Tesco logo on will not scan after the expiry date so you will have to take a deep breath and bin them!

Other 'normal' manufacturers' money-off coupons with a barcode will scan even after the expiry date (but best to use them in good time, don't want to cause coupon-refusal at your local Mr T).

Yes I tried the out of date H&B vouchers too but at a checkout and they would not scan. However, did have some whiskas ones which were a week out of date and the till accepted them with no problems.

I believe someone on here posted about the gillette fusion vouchers scanning even though they are tesco specific, ever hopeful of another £2 off my bill I tried and they would not scan through the till without buying the item
