Keeping Records

I know it has been said over and over on this board how important it is to keep records. In the past while I was paying off my debts I always wrote to the companies saying I would only correspond with them in writing and wouldn't take phone calls which worked well because I could save all my sent letters on the computer and file all the received ones in some folders.

Now I am back in control of my finances I was having a look at maybe changing my record keeping to have some kind of spreadsheet or CRM tool that I can go into to record the date/time/name/summary of the call.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Hi,

It may not be exactly what your looking for, but an excel spreadsheet would work ok, although you may get better suggestions shortly.
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
