Does anuone know roughly how many songs a 128mb MP3 Player Can hold coause i am looking to buy one

128 kbs sample rate = 3-5 Mb, or 40 songs, reduce or increase the sample rate will do the same with the amount of songs.

Maybe its me, but I always drop the sampling rate to 64kbs or even lower, as its been played through earphones, I find its makes little difference, there is a trade off obviously, but if you wish to increase the number of songs you can have on your mp3 player???

I have 4 albums on my Nokia 7610 recorded at 24kbs which sounds fine also

If you've got a spare SD memory card lying around, this is worth a punt:

I got one a couple of weeks ago (cost about £25 with the postage), doesn't have ANY on-board memory though, so you have to pop your own SD (or MMC) card into the slot. The good news is, it will accept up to 1Gb cards, so if you've got the card already, you get yourself a half decent MP3 player!
