Warehouse - bad service

I made an order with Warehouse's online shopping. All sale stuff and I was really pleased with all the bargins I'd got.
And I recieved an e-mail saying it was being processed the same day.
Then by Wednesday I'd not recieved an e-mail saying it was dispatched (and it stated delivery in 2-3 working days - this was day 5), so I checked my bank account, and no money had been charged. I then contacted them to see what the problem was and thought there was an error with my card or something.
The response I recieved was telling me that none of the 10 items I'd ordered were in stock and the order would not be filled. I e-mailed them back saying I was disapointed with the service
The problems I have with this are:
1) Why was their webpage not updated to prevent me from ordering items they did not have? (and most of them are still showing as available, and in the sizes I ordered, on their site)
2) Why did they not contact me to tell me this? (I had to contact them, almost a week after the order was placed)
3) Why have they still not updated their webpage? (I did point this out to them)
I will not be shopping with them again - shame, some of their stuff is really nice.

Sorry to hear that - its my fav shop and I was planning to get bits and bobs.
By any chance did you order a studded shoulder dress? Stripe dress? oversized shirt dress?
I only as as those are items that i know have been sold out before (as i have been trying to get them - the studded dress sold out since March) but mysteriously have appeared on the website recently
I know you have had a bad experience, but dont let it put you off.
Try ebay - I pick up lots of warehouse bargains for cheaper and usually they are new.0 -
I ordered the stripe dress - neither of the other two - I like the stuff there too,
Just so annoying, and such poor customer service - they have now debited my account as well. I can tell this is going to be a nightmare to sort out!!!0 -
