Multi-vit tablets, worth it or not?

I have been taking the Seven Seas tablets on and off now for several years and this morning as I popped the tab I wondered whether it was really worth it....OK, so not a substitute for vegetables, fruit etc. but is there any health value whatsoever in taking them?

I have taken them in the past. I have anaemia, and when it's not too bad I usually take multi-vit's with iron in them, as a supplement. I do try to get a lot of iron in my diet also, I would say there is some benefit to them, so long as you don't try to use them as a replacement.

    Totally agree with pirate
  • I take Omega 3 capsules and Evening Primrose Oil Capsules daily and a Vitamin C soluable tablet whenever I feel I need a boost and I have to say, I really do notice the difference. It is definately NOT a subsitute for a healthy diet but in conjuction with that I notice the difference when I am taking them to when I am not and they can be used to boost a flagging diet in extreme cases of need.

I take Omega 3 and Vit C too, although not evening primrose. I do notice if I'm not taking them, as Omega 3 is brilliant for skin, circulation, heart, etc, and Vit C is just good.
