Hi i'm just doing the same thing as OP, i've got about 4 settled debts on my credit report that i want to get rid of, it will be nice for it to look a little bit more roomy.0

On the credit report it will say who the account is with. If you haven't got the company details you can either Google them or call the credit reference agency and ask for the companies address or phone number.
Then you just ring them up and explain and take it from there.I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)
As of the last count I have cleared [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt.

You know they will still show on the report even if you close the accounts don't you?I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.

If they are settled they will drop off your credit report 6 years after the date they were settled.0
