Bit of help please

Options
Hi,
Am new to the site and this is my first thread, and post! so apologies in advance if it's in the wrong place or this isn't the kind of thing people ask in this section. Had a nose about and everyone seems friendly enough so here goes;

I work for a big UK restaurant chain which operates a monthly mystery diner scheme and recently served a customer who was a mystery diner and got 100% feedback, the prize for this are loyalty points which are available to redeem in an online shop for whatever you choose to do with it. Some of the stuff on there is lovely but the prices, or equivalent points value are a bit out of date, eg £129 for GHD straighteners, £150 for an Ipod Nano which are higher in comparison to high street offers and online deals.
You can also convert the points into vouchers for Amazon, Arcadia, Asda, Argos, Boots, B&Q, Currys, Comet, GAP, HMV, Homebase, John Lewis etc etc (You get the idea). There are also experience days on there, alongside some random stuff like hedge trimmers, fridgefreezers etc. So just wondering if it were you what would you do with the points?
BTW, there is no cash alternativve.
Thanks for reading xx

    It doesn't really matter whether the 'prices' using 'points' are inflated or not, because you're getting the thing free.

    Obviously look around and see if it's cheaper to buy the thing with points direct from the online shop or if you could get the same thing and have vouchers left over from going via Amazon vouchers.

    If you need cash, buy something you can ebay at close to full value.
    A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

    I would probably go for vouchers, at some point you'll want to buy something. Even if it's for xmas presents.
    Well done, by the way,

    I'd have to agree with hermum, vouchers seem the best. Maybe have a think about where your most likely to buy from and save them (providing they don't have an expiry date) for when needed i.e. retail therapy, Christmas, birthdays and so on

    Congratulations!!
  • Thanks guys going to treat myself to some posh champagne and spend the rest on vouchers! xx
