If i remember correctly I was allowed £180 for groceries (as a single lady back when I filed for BR) and I went back to living with my parents!
Also where do you park to only pay £10 per month?? I wanna live where you do!!
Can i ask you if the rent i will be paying to my parents is in line with what the OR found acceptable in your BR?
Thanks again.0 -
Rent/Board figure looks fine, maybe even a little low. You would definitely struggle to rent anywhere including utilties for that amount. It needs to be enough to cover the increased costs your parents have, but not too high that it looks like it is a balancing figure on your SOA0

I would think so yes. I think I put £150 but that 4 and half years ago and the cost of living has completely gone up! Maybe put a little higher (to allow for winter months) if the OR doesn't think it should be that high he/she will tell you.0

Would it be the tax on a nil tax code??
Thankyou for your speedy replies.:T
Anyone?sorry to be a pain!0 -
if you have £99 and under surplus (subject to any changes the OR might wish to make) you won't get an IPA. £100 and over surplus is subject to an IPA of varying amounts, there is a table somewhere will see if i can find it
edit - here you go
Between £100 and £249 = 50% of surplus payable
Between £250 and £349 = 60% of surplus payable
Between £350 and £499 = 66% of surplus payable
£500 or more = 70% of surplus payable0 -
so if im over by 20 quid the ipa will be 50 per cent of that??
Sorry if i seem thick.:rotfl:0 -
on a £118 surplus you will pay £59pm for 36 months plus whatever your tax is until AprilHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
