Tiny compared to everyone else!

I've been looking at what some people owe out on this site and mines is really low...

When you put down how much you owe out are you only taking about credit that you have defulted on which debt companys chasing you on or do you include credit that you currently have but is fine and you are paying regulary and normally?

In total the "bad" debt I have is £1,421. I'm dealing with debt companies on these accounts.

I also have 2 credit cards and a Next account but my payments are all regular and up to date on these accounts.

So do you include these in your figures? Just wondering incase I was deluding myself...:(

Thanks x

  • I always include everything I owe - I have £14,000 of debt and have never missed a payment on any account.

Just to repeat what has already been said, you have to include the whole lot (including overdrafts etc) to get the full picture. there is for example no point in paying the minimum payments on 2 credit cards and a credit account, and having nothing left to tackle the "bad debts".
