Hopeless with all things computer related so please help!
I booked a holiday a while back and got the confirmation by email. The holiday is tomorrow and whenI've gone on to print the confirmation it won't open. It gives a message saying it's an unknown file type and to 'create and association in the folder options'. The file is named with letters and numbers then .pdf if that means anything??
I think I've deleted whatever it is I need to open it when I was clearing space by deleting programs I don't use now (or so I thought....)
Is there any way I can open it? please help!

It's an Adobe Acrobat file. .pdf extension means it needs the Acrobat plugin to work. You can download this from http://www.adobe.com There is a button marked "Download Adobe Reader" there.0
