Hi can anyone recommend where to buy a wood burning stove, really like the look of Aarrow Ecoburn 5, Multifuel or the Broseley Serrano 5.
Does anyone have the above burners in their home and if so would you recommend them
many thanks

Hi
We have a Morso multi fuel stove and have been very happy with it, have had it for 5 years never had a problem. The only maintenance was to replace the heat blocks on the inside, but this is standard for all stoves. There is a company The Woodstove Centre, Banbridge, who sell Morso, although we got ours elsewhere, beware where you buy from though as there are Chinese replica's of most stoves floating about so ensure you purchase from a reputable dealer.0 -

Yeah have heard about this guy in Tandragee too. Only thing i'm not clear about is do you need a chimney and a stove?MFW 148 - Mortgage £121,000 1Jan11 / Mortgage £120,300 28Jan11 / £119,808 24Feb11 / £119,400 22 April11 / £119,089 29 May11 / £118,500 October110

I can heartily recommend Hot Stoves in Tandragee, great to deal with in quality goods, service and price. Beat every other place we dealt with.0

I bought an evergreen stove from Timber & Tile in Newry 6 years ago and it has been great... If you search for Evergreen stoves online you should be able to find them, the only mistake I made was not putting a back boiler into it...0

Dalzell's in Markethill are pretty cheap, good display from what I remember.0

Am bumping this thread to see if anyone else has any recommendations for multi-fuel stoves? I only started reading up on them yesterday...so am getting over the costs involved (am i right in estimating the overall costs are around £2000 for one without a back boiler?)0

What about Flames and Fireplaces in Banbridge. Heard they were pretty good. Haven't used them but seem to be competitive.0

Try www.hotprice.co.uk - I have just ordered a stove from them and they were a lot cheaper than anything I could find anywhere else. I have ordered a Hunter slimline0

I got mine installed last autumn by All Fired Up in Donacloney and can recommend their service. I replaced an old glass-fronted fire with a back boiler which was hard to light (and impossible to keep alight!) with a Nestor Martin Harmony - without a back boiler. It's been so easy to light (and a lot cleaner than the old fire as it burns the wood down to nearly nothing) that I wish I'd done it years ago! The main expense was in the building work as the existing fireplace was too small, a flue lining needed to be installed etc.0
