Can I do anything? (MS Question)

I completed a mystery shopping assignment on Tuesday (2 days ago) and submitted the results online straight away. The message this company always gives at the end to confirm the results have been submitted came up and the job was removed from my page of active assignments.
Today I logged in (first time since submitting results, was too busy yesterday to check for new assignments) and was told that the assignment had been automatically de-allocated as the results were overdue. I rang the company and told them I had submitted the results straight after completing and they asked if I had needed to complete the assignment in two parts and had not done the first part on time, but the assignment was only one-part and I had entered all the results straight after completing. I gave them the details of the job (company, job number etc.) from my assignment notes and they said they'd ring back.
I then got a call back about half an hour later saying they couldn't do anything as another shopper had already taken the assignment, I asked if I could be given at least some of the fee as compensation for the job but they said they couldn't do it.
I was also in the process of doing a two-part assignment for them (the second part was done today) and have just submitted the second half of the results. I'm now worried it will happen with this assignment too, I tried to ring them to check it had gone through properly and was going to record it and get the name of the person I spoke to but when I ring an automated voice says there is no answer, this happened 3 times before I gave up.

Which company was it? Some are more reasonable than others.0

It was Gfk, they're the company I get the most assignments for so I don't want to do anything that'll make the assignments stop but at the same time I don't want this to keep happening as it's where most of my assignments come from.0

Hmm... Gfk have always been good to me.. perhaps try asking in the MS thread for anyone who's had a similar problem?0
