Floating Candles! What to put them in??

My friend is getting married on 27th of July. She has asked my opinion on what candles to get and how to display them. I thought floating candles were a good idea. I have had a look on ebay today and found the candles cheap enough. Now we need something to put them in. Anyone got any ideas?? She also only has a small budget to work with.

Depends on what type of look she's going for, but maybe different cut glass bowls from charity shops? We found loads to use for our sweetie buffet. Otherwise maybe pound/discount shops?0

Floating candles...I'd put them in a shallow clear bowl with flower petals? I think that'd look pretty;

Goldfish/bubble vases are best, but not exactly cheap. If you have a pound stretcher or instore near you, it might be worth looking in there as I recently saw them in there for £3.99 each (this was for the size that my local florist wanted to charge £7 each to hire. If you can't afford 'proper' fishbowl vases, they have a cheap glass bowl in ikea that'll work (I was going to use it for floating candles at my wedding but was put off by people who said they'd melt to quickly and I'd just be left with wax floating on water). I'll see if I can find the link.“Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me... I used bowls from Ikea for my wedding. I bought 6 and they were only used on the day but have been impossible to sell on afterwards so are sitting in the loft.
