HELP!!!!!!
I have Unpaid Tax & VAT bills and overdraft and credit card bills from previous business amounting to £30000 approx. Been unemployed since last September so unable to pay. Have had a distraint letter sent by Tax...have sent letters previously asking for advise & help from Tax & vat had no replies just demands for money owed. Dont know what to do. Very worried. Have no business assets or that many assets in general. Personal assets jointly owned with my wife who has nothing to do with this. I have a small van which I am using as I am getting work experience as a plumber. My wife has a car which she needs to get to work....they are the major assets, can they take them!! very worried
Please help me...
Thanks for your time

Hi
Considering the stage this has got to I would think you are best getting proper advice from business debtline/national debtline. I assume the business was not a limited company?
(sorry I know this is not really answering your question but think you would be better with specialist advice)A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
