  • B&Q have a bedroom furniture Sale on at the moment. (See Quick Grabbit while you can Board) Not sure if they have dressing tables though, I am going to my local store tomorrow because I could do with a dressing table for my 5 year old daughter! The chests of drawers are quite cheap I believe!

    Worth a try!

    Good luck!

Fantastic :rotfl: No sarcasm intended but it was me who started that thread lol. Unfortunatley there are no dressing tables, seems these days people want workstations in their bedrooms instead.
  • Hello there

I am using a console table from a junkshop, I painted it an old white colour and had some glass cut for the top. I used a little gilt cream on the edges and added crystal knobs and it looks great, very shabby chic. Toltal cost abot £50

I would second xxdarlingxx 's option, We hunted for a classic french dressing table and stool last year - but they were all around £500 -£600
Eventually got one from ebay for £25 locally , spent around £45 on paint, gilt and fabric to recover the stool.
it now looks like brand new and we're really happy with it

Here's one from MFI, doesn't include a stool though, and does look like a desk. HTH
