If you make an F&F are you acknowledging the debt?

I have made a few F&Fs to my creditors (none accepted as of yet). I wondered if I use the template letters for F&Fs am I "acknowledging the debt"?
I am not currently paying anything towards the debt. Is there any terms or phrases i must put in letters, to avoid acknowledging the debt, for statute barring purposes?

I believe that you would be acknowledging it, yes. Obviously if they accept a F+F it shouldn't matter much anyway, but if they don't, you would have admitted, in writing, that you owe them.
How long have you got left before you reach Statue Barred status?I'm a...I'm a real traditionalist of course0 -
About 5 years.
But I have put in letters terms like "without predujice" & "money you claim i owe" etc. Dont know if that helps.0
