Best time to put things on Ebay?

Hi All,
I've sold a few things on ebay but not loads and am just after a bit of advice.
I have lots of tops to sell (they are all Bravissimo ones) that seem to go for a fair bit on Ebay, so fingers crossed.
I was just wondering if anyone had any Ebay tips - like when to put them on, anything worth including, to ensure I get the most I can for them.
Thanks,
Claire

Either Sunday evening for 7 days, or Thursday evening for 10 days. Avoid Friday nights.
If these ar enew with tags then be careful as you may be considered a business and be asked to upgrade your account. If they are second hand don't use terms like 'as new' or 'like new' as you may get your listings pulled. Do a completed items check as well to see what sort of prices to expect and what sells best.
If you need any more specific advice then try the ebay board (see my sig)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I tend to time my auctions to finish on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon as seems to be busier and more people bidding at weekend. I generally just do 5 day auctions though, in my experience they sell the same as a 7 day as most people just tend to check items that are finishing in the next few days anyway.
Check other auctions for similar items to get an idea of prices and look for ones with quite a few bids on to see if they are doing anything in particular you could get ideas from.
With clothes try and make sure you have decent photos where you can clearly see what the item looks like (have been put off so many clothes items on ebay where the description sounds great but impossible to tell off the picture what it actually looks like). Make sure you clearly state what condition they are in and can be worth putting measurements on as well as size since sizes can vary so much. (If you don't do this make sure you clearly put 'size on label' so awkward people can't come back to you later and say 'well it's a 10 but it doesn't fit me')
Good luck with it x0 -
It's really just luck of the draw... sometimes things sell well, other times not, with not apparent reason!0
