I also received a letter for confirmation of my current address. Unfortunately, I called them and they asked me to confirm my current address and name, I gave them only details that they already had, but then told them my previous address. They claimed that the money I owed was from a debt to BT (around £66), I don't know anything about this debt and had changed to Talk Talk at least 6 months before I left my previous address and had received nothing from BT.

I also asked them why this debt hadn't appeared on my credit report that was very recent, they said that perhaps BT had not reported it, seemed strange. I have asked them to send details of this debt and I'll contact BT myself. Additionally, have recently been applied for a credit card, then this letter turns up, feels linked to me.

I've just moved house and we've just had a text message from SRJ Limited to the house phone looking for someone we didn't know at all, perhaps a previous owner.

I'm worried about phoning back, should I or should I leave it?

Any help would be great!
