Bad debt management experience

Dear All,

Following on from years of struggling to repay my debts, I've tried 3 debt management companies. I have to warn u all though that my experience has been nothing more of a complete knightmare: being ripped off, losing even more sleep and not knowng who to trust.

I went to Churchwood Finance, and they took £330 pound off me. Only to do nothing. Then after weekso f complaining I was recommended by them that I use Magic Finance Group or Magic Debt in Macclesfield - I was conned into paying them over £1,000 in up front fees only to find out they didnt pass on any of my monies to my creditors - some of which had by now started to not just knock at my door but try to break and enter my home in order to repossess items of value.


STAY AWAY FROM MAGiC LOANS AND CHURCHWOOD FINANCE THEY HAvE RIPPED ME OFF

I know another person been riped of for £500 with Churchwood Finance Ltd - they are criminals in rich mens cloths

The general consensus in these parts is to avoid all debt management companies, due to the problems you outlined above. However on the flip side, debt management plans do work well for alot of people when they are administered by either CCCS or Payplan which are both debt management CHARITIES. You might want to take a look at them.
